Types of Validators

There are two types of validators:

  1. Circle Validators - People who are in the wallet holder's social circle. They burn a substantial amount of their BRN points to verify the wallet. Once the threshold required for the circle validation has been reached, it will enter Random Validation.

  2. Random Validators - Randomly selected wallets from the verified wallet list who have opted in to verify other wallets. They stake a substantial amount of their BRN points to participate in the voting. They can vote the wallet as:

    • Legitimate
    • Illegitimate
    • Neither

Voting the wallet as either legitimate or illegitimate requires staking BRN points. Voting as "Neither" counts as an 'illegitimate' vote but without needing to stake BRN points, though this forfeits any possible rewards.

Voting "Neither" a lot of times will incur penalty.
